Two more reasons to quit using (i.e., supporting) Google. They will do anything to make a profit, ethics and YOUR privacy be damned. Generally I'm pro-business (I own one) but not in my lifetime have I witnessed a company so blatant in its quest for dominance no matter what the costs or unethical methods used to get them there. One possible exception being Microsoft, though they weren't ever this malicious and flagrant with customer data.

Could this be reality crashing down on a bunch of 1960s beatniks who are finally growing up, opening their eyes, and realizing that the world (not just the USA) is a pretty nasty place? Have they finally tossed off their technicolor rose-infused glasses? Have they come to grips with the fact that their symbolic dreams haven't come to fruition? Please forgive my selfish schadenfreude, but it is too much fun - especially when it applies to self-proclaimed enlightened hippies.

Even though I dabble in the creative arts, I do so from a totally orthogonal perspective. I am an atypical artist. I don't exist in a fluffy haze of world peace, love, and hallucinogens. I can't relate to this point of world view. It is noble, but like most other symbolic gestures, good intentions are the only results. Sure they feel good about themselves for "making a difference" but what did they actually accomplish, and who did these people actually help besides their own egos and bank accounts? Although they are annoying, they are a necessary part of human existence. Someone has to dream while the rest work to feed everyone else.

Please, stick to what you do best. Make great music, poetry, paintings, and other creative expressions of art. Entertain us, challenge our intellect, and take us into your inner consciousness. Make a difference to the populous in this way. Show us how to think, don't tell us WHAT to think. That is what government is for.

Call me a mean heartless bastard. I don't really care what you think of me.

If you don't believe me, then why does the press say that Hillary won the primaries on Tuesday when Obama got more states and delegates? It has already happened before in some of the other primaries. Why do they always play down Mitt's victories? Hmmm?

Throughout the primaries, they avoided people like Fred Thompson, Ron Paul, Bill Richardson, and Joe Biden in favor of THEIR golden children that they have already chosen FOR you.
